3 Steps to Turn Your Passion Into Profits
The system I’ve used to create my dream business that funds my dream life..and how you can too do it too!
What does it mean to you to create a business that you LOVE?
Do you see your business as only a means to an end? Or, have you too realized, that it can be so much more? You’ve probably heard of creating a “life by design”….but, what if I told you that your dream life is on the other side of your dream business?
I believe in building a business by design that funds your dream life. I’m a huge advocate for helping women discover the freedom that comes with getting their financial blueprint in place. Let me walk you through the steps!
You need to ask yourself:
- How much do you want to be making?
Figure out the number that will cover your bills, both your personal and your business expenses. Even if you don’t have your own business (and you want to!) figure out what it would look like to replace your current salary.
- What does your dream life look like?
I did this amazing exercise in a millionaire mastermind session a few years ago. You need to map out your current life budget (your personal and your business again). You’ve already started with the basics: what do you need to survive?
Now you get to figure out how you’d like to thrive! Again figure out both your lifestyle budgets and your business budgets.
What are you missing out on? A babysitter for date night? Weekly massages to release stress in your body? Dance classes with your significant other?
Or what about for your business? What if you could hire a full-time VA? Or have a large advertising budget? Write it all down!
Now that you have the vision, here’s the plan!
Picture this: one BIG domino at the front on all these goals and desires. What if there was one goal that once hit, would knock all your other goals into place?
Let me tell you what that domino is: your finances But here’s the good news: it’s absolutely fixable!
Money = power… And it will make ALL your other goals happen?
I have a goal to visit Japan next year with my family. And the plane tickets alone are $30-40k from Dallas (first class, of course). First, I need to figure out how much money I need to be making by June next year to take my family to Japan! Once I have that number calculated, I get to work. I figure out what I can do in my business to hit that goal. I’ll invest in myself and in my business to hit my goal! I examine how I can uplevel to hit my bullseye.
Listen to me, friend: You WILL miss out on things in life if the finances aren’t there. And that’s why I’m so passionate about this! Is this how you see your business? As THE way to hit ALL your other goals?
