Tip #1- Make sure to Have a Designated Work from Home “Workspace”
Whether it’s a small desk in the corner of a room…
or an outdoor office…
or even an office you’re renting away from the home…
It’s important to make sure your workspace is equipped with everything you need to get and stay profitable!
And besides wifi, a computer and your smart phone…
I recommend you create a cozy, comfy space so that you enjoy your space. I love to have decorations as well as meaningful quotes, candles and incense in my She Shed office. (I actually created a pinterest board you can click here to check out full of “work from home” decoration inspiration.)
Tip #2 Create Non-Negotiable Business Hours.
Part of working from home is the obvious blur between home life and business life…
Here in California, my kids have been doing school from home since last March 2020…
so as a single mom, with 2 young kids doing home school.. besides client work and house work…
those non-negotiable business hour times are ESSENTIAL for me to stay focused on biz…
and to also be able to turn it off and enjoy family and fun time!
