Why it’s so important to “eat the frog” first thing every day…and how that relates to time management and goal setting.
There’s an old saying that I first heard from the late, great self-development speaker, Jim Rohn.
He says, “Eat the frog first thing in the morning.”
Meaning…
When you get up…instead of putting off the thing(s) you dread to do…
Take a bite of it, by choice, first things first. Manage your time and take charge!
Now, it sounds simple. “Eat the Frog”
But how do you actually apply this in life and business?
For me…I personally hate doing any kind of paperwork or sending emails.
So…If I have an important email to respond to…or filing some paperwork…
After my morning routine (quiet time, prayer, and exercise)…
instead of doing something fun and enjoyable to me (like social media marketing)
I would choose to send that hard email, deal with a bill, etc.
I found this cool image below on a nice site (https://todoist.com/productivity-methods/eat-the-frog) and thought I’d share it here for you to save as well.
As usual…
the things most simple…
can be the most hard…
until we get in the habit of doing them.
I did a short heart to heart 1 min video below sharing this as well.
